iWood European Oak External Cladding
is available in Kiln Dried First Quality, Kiln Dried Character Quality and Fresh Sawn Character grades. There are a range of tongue and groove
(T and G) and overlap profiles available, with feather edge cladding
and One Square Edge, One Waney Edge available if you choose 'Fresh Sawn Character Quality
' grade oak.
European oak cladding gives a durable and attractive look to external buildings. A horizontal layout to your cladding will most likely be the best option due to the simple overlap design that is used when a horizontal layout to your cladding is applied.
Our oak cladding is provided untreated. If you choose any of our Kiln Dried (Prime or Character) profiles, you will need to treat and seal the timber before installation to prevent moisture movement. You can leave the Fresh Sawn Feather Edge untreated, allowing the cladding to take on the traditional silvered, weathered look, or you can add your own choice of protective coating or stain if required. If installing machined cladding and fitting it together tightly, you'll need to to seal the oak to prevent moisture movement. It is recommended that you fit them loosely to account for moisture expansion and contraction with tongue and groove machined profiles.
iWood Timber Merchants' European Oak Cladding is of the highest quality and sourced from responsibly managed forests.
As standard, kiln dried machined profiles are supplied in lengths of 2m and longer.

Our delivery lorries visit different parts of the country on different days, so once your order is ready we will work with you to arrange a delivery day for when one of our lorries is in your area. We will always arrange the delivery day in advance with you.
We deliver weekdays Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm. Our delivery vehicles will have multiple jobs on them which can affect the delivery time to you, depending on factors such as traffic and how long it takes to offload the previous jobs. The driver will call you in advance with an estimated time of arrival to make sure you'll be there.
We use an external haulage company to make our deliveries and because many customers have forklift trucks for offloading, as standard, the delivery lorries don't have crane arms on them (it's much more expensive to hire crane lorries, and we try to keep costs down so we can keep our timber prices low). Therefore, on the day of delivery we ask you to have enough person-power available, or offloading equipment, to lift the pieces off the lorry. We will arrange in advance with you when you will receive your delivery. We can certainly quote for separate delivery on a lorry with a crane if required.
