Please note that iWood is a wholesale timber merchant, and because much of our timber is imported to order, we have a minimum order amount of £1,000 ex VAT (£1,200 inc VAT).
Build a pack of random width boards at your choice of grade, thickness and length. This product is ideal if you like the idea of square edge packs but want more control over the specification you receive.
iWood is pleased to offer our unique Pack Builder system.
Based on widths of 120mm and wider (to an average of 160mm), build up a custom pack of European Oak. You specify the grade, the thickness, length and volume in cubic metres or feet.
The oak is supplied kiln dried and square edged.
Unlike the Sawn to Size European oak section of this site, because the pack builder’s widths are left up to us and what is currently most highly available, you get better pricing than completely customising each piece.
Feel free to mix and match different thicknesses, lengths and grades to build your perfect “pic n’ mix” timber pack.
Our timber is imported straight from sawmills on the continent. Our usual lead times are therefore 20 to 25 working days
Delivery cost varies by location. Please click here to open our delivery cost page in a new window.
Our delivery lorries visit different parts of the country on different days, so once your order is ready we will work with you to arrange a delivery day for when one of our lorries is in your area. We will always arrange the delivery day in advance with you.
We deliver weekdays Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm. Our delivery vehicles will have multiple jobs on them which can affect the delivery time to you, depending on factors such as traffic and how long it takes to offload the previous jobs. The driver will call you in advance with an estimated time of arrival to make sure you'll be there.
Aside from delivery locations that are priced on application, your delivery will be provided with means of offloading from the truck. This may be by HIAB (lorry with a crane arm), or by supplied manpower. The method will be determined by the haulage company we use based on your location and available options at the time. Please note, both offload options will drop your order to the side of the lorry, they won't be able to carry it around the back of a property, for example.
For areas that are priced on application, by default, we will quote for delivery on a flat-bed lorry that you'll need to arrange to offload yourself. We can quote for offloading on request, but to these areas it's usually prohibitively expensive, and cheaper for you to hire a forklift, or arrange to have enough people on-site to offload.
Our European Oak pack timber is kiln dried to an average moisture content of 10 - 12%.
