Unfinished European Solid Oak Flooring
Our Solid Oak flooring is perfect for a medium coloured, traditional look floors.
This type of wood is long-edge tongue and groove (T and G) and supplied in lengths between 2 and 4 m.
We supply this type of flooring without any protective treatment or stain applied, allowing you to apply any off-the-shelf treatment to suit your situation and tastes (see Finishes). A major advantage of this is that because the solid oak floor will be laid before having a seal or treatment applied, rather than individually treated laminate boards, you will have a barrier across the whole floor without gaps between each piece, giving a much harder-wearing floor with a longer life.
What makes our oak so popular?
We source our solid oak flooring from some of the best sawmills in Europe, our attention to detail when it comes to choosing our products means that we supply only the finest quality woods that our customers love. Using our tool above you can select various grades and qualities, ranging from 'prime quality' to 'rustic', so feel free to check them out. Although our flooring wood is tongued and grooved cut, you can also select whether you want relief grooves or not so that you can lay them either side up.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When will my wood be delivered
We get all of our woods directly from the sawmills that cut it, our usual lead times are therefore 17 to 21 working days.
What does delivery cost?
We base it on how far away you are from us. For more information on this check out our DELIVERY PAGE
Our delivery lorries visit different parts of the country on different days, so once your order is ready we will work with you to arrange a delivery day for when one of our lorries is in your area. We will always arrange the delivery day in advance with you.
We deliver weekdays Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm. Our delivery vehicles will have multiple jobs on them which can affect the delivery time to you, depending on factors such as traffic and how long it takes to offload the previous jobs. The driver will call you in advance with an estimated time of arrival to make sure you'll be there.
Aside from delivery locations that are priced on application, your delivery will be provided with means of offloading from the truck. This may be by HIAB (lorry with a crane arm), or by supplied manpower. The method will be determined by the haulage company we use based on your location and available options at the time. Please note, both offload options will drop your order to the side of the lorry, they won't be able to carry it around the back of a property, for example.
For areas that are priced on application, by default, we will quote for delivery on a flat-bed lorry that you'll need to arrange to offload yourself. We can quote for offloading on request, but to these areas it's usually prohibitively expensive, and cheaper for you to hire a forklift, or arrange to have enough people on-site to offload.
What is the moisture content of our oak?
The moisture content of this flooring is around 10%
