- 20/10/2020 - Everyone at iWood would like to thank you for your continued support during the pandemic.
As more of our customers have started coming back to work we have seen an influx of orders.
As such we are currently working to a lead time of 14-28 working days
(some products have longer lead times as described in their individual descriptions). We are still following government guidelines to keep our staff and customers safe.
We supply a wide range of Oak products for the interior of your home. This ranges from finished products like skirting and architrave to cut to size pieces ready for you to work on and turn into whatever you need.
European Oak is a vastly sought after resource, it’s good to work with and highly durable. Our Oak products are all provided untreated (apart from the engineered flooring) so you can treat it as you see fit.
When using internally you don’t need to UV protect it however sealing it to prevent moisture getting in will still be a good idea. There are also treatments that can protect the timber from damp when used as flooring in high traffic areas.
We supply solid Oak and engineered Oak flooring. The solid is untreated and machined to a profile of your choosing. You also get to choose the grade you would like, ranging from Rustic to Prime. The main difference between the grades in the knot content.
Engineered oak flooring on the other hand is available in array of different finishes from invisible oil to a range of lacquers including Charcoal, Pearl, Smoked and more. The flooring is T&G so it fits together easily.
Available in extralong and extra wide, Oak stair strings are solid planed all round pieces of kiln dried Oak. They are ideal for internal stairs. Stair strings are the pieces of timber that flank the stair treads in order to hold them in place.
Oak Skirting and Architrave
Interior trim like skirting and architrave is machined to your selected profile, much like solid flooring. This means that Oak skirting and architrave both have individual minimum machining quantities in order for us to produce.
The skirting and architrave profile shapes are the same with different sizes available, this is to help you match the interior trim for your home.
Oak for you to work with
Planed all round and cut to size Oak can be supplied to your specified sizes. These products are ideal if you are looking to make furniture, shelving, cabinets and worktops.
We also supply packs of sawn Oak which are more cost effective than our cut to size options.
