About iWood's Oak Packs
For joinery work, cabinet making and furniture manufacture Oak Packs can be one of the most cost effective ways of buying high quality Oak. The timber is supplied to you ready to work with to the specs you see online.
These packs are much cheaper to source than cut to size or planed all round because they haven’t been processed since leaving the kiln and being bundled together. Although this leaves you with more work, it can also be an advantage because you can work the boards exactly as you would like to.
The above stocklist is live so everything you see is available to buy right away. Lead times can be seen above, however, collection is usually on 24 hours’ notice. You can filter the list based on grade, thickness and pack type.
Different Types of Packs
Square Edged
This is the most common form of pack we supply. These Oak packs are a set nominal thickness but can come in a range of widths and lengths as specified on each pack.
Square edged packs are ideal when working with a range of sizes and can work with a mix of materials.
Fixed Width
These packs are great for cladding, skirting architrave, fascia and other products that are only seen on one face. They are supplied in a single nominal width (different for each pack) and are usually around 27mm thick.
Others
There are other types of pack available which will occasionally pop up depending on availability. These can include:
