What to Expect from SoftwoodDirect
As a trading name of iWood, you can expect the same quality service we pride ourselves on. These products have been researched and handpicked as must haves for the new website, as we look to provide something a little bit extra that we get asked for regularly.
We have built the site around standard dimension stock so we can provide faster lead times enabling you to complete projects quickly. At the moment SoftwoodDirect is for collection orders, with delivery available to the Midlands and other select locations. Over time we will look to roll it out nationally.

What Does This Mean for iWood?
Apart from the excitement of having something new to share with you, not a lot will change for iWood. We are still a dedicated hardwood specialist and fully focused on providing the best quality timber to you.
What will change over the next few months, is that for the first time we’ll be looking at stocking Fresh Sawn Oak Beams, these will be available to you in standard sizes at a much quicker lead time. Don’t worry though we will still be providing our cut to size service to go with it, so you get the best of both worlds.
When they are ready the stocked beams will be available to buy online with a live stock list so you know what’s available at all times. We’re aiming to get this all ready for the usual Continental Sawmill Shutdowns in August so we can continue to supply beams and reduce the back log that normally builds up.
